CSCI 435/535 — Software Engineering

Welcome to CSCI 435/535. This semester, six teams will each work on a real, established open-source project using modern agentic AI tooling as part of their software engineering workflow: agile sprints, code review, CI, testing, and real project management.

September 19, 2026 The class on Tuesday, Sep 22 will include:
— A 15-min quiz at the start of class (Sprint 0 material and topics covered in the lectures).
— Sprint 0 Lightning Talks — each team has 10 minutes to present. Upload your slides as PDF to Blackboard by 12:20 PM. See the Presentations page for full requirements.
